Loretta R. Foppe 91 of Breese died Thursday June 1, 2017 at Carlyle Health Care Center, Carlyle.

She was born February 19, 1926 in St. Rose Twp., IL to Aloys and Christine (Jansen) Thole: they preceded her in death.

She married Louis Foppe June 4, 1947 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Breese and he preceded her in death April 21, 1963.

Also, preceded in death by sisters Priscilla Voss, Sally Fuhler, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joe Voss,
Sr. Regina Foppe, Agnes and Leonard Keeven, Bernadette and Alvin “Blackie” Elling, Etta and Charles Schaefer.

Surviving is her son John (Debra) Foppe of Carlyle.

2 grandson Nathan (friend Crystal) Foppe, Justin Foppe.

Brother-in-law Victor Fuhler of Trenton

Loretta retired from St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, dietary department. She enjoyed quilting and getting together with her Breese Journal friends.

Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Breese.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Breese. Fr. Chuck Tuttle presiding. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, June 5, from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home, Breese.

Memorials can be made to St. Dominic ~ Augustine Cemetery, Clinton County relay for Life and will be received at the funeral home
