Charlotte J. Luginbuhl, age 78, of Highland and formerly of Trenton, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.
She was born June 20, 1939 in Golden Eagle, IL to the late Lester and Geneva, nee Baecht, Jacobs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Luginbuhl whom she married January 24, 1975 in Caseyville and he died September 23, 1997.
Surviving is her brother, Roy (Patricia) Jacobs, Sr. of Golden Eagle, IL; a brother-in-law, Milton (Gaye) Luginbuhl of Breese; and a niece and nephew, Angela (Rob) Lamarsh and Roy Jacobs, Jr. all of Golden Eagle, IL.
Charlotte was a huge St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Fan.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Calhoun Ambulance, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, or to the donor’s choice and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230.
