Brenda J. Sackett

Brenda J. Sackett, age 57, of Breese, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon.

Ms. Sackett was born April 3, 1960 in Breese, a daughter of the late Paul and Jackie, nee Mete, Sackett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Bernard and Regina Mete and Clarence and Catherine Sackett.

She is survived by a son, Jared (friend Nicole Schulte) Sackett of Junction City; grandchildren, Jayden, Kyler, Kandan, and Piper; brother, Craig (Priscilla) Sackett of Sahuarita, AZ; and a niece, Amanda (Billy) Weatherman.

Brenda was a former Mental Health Tech 4 and supervisor at Murray Center in Centralia. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese, St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary, and a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese. Brenda was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Deacon Linus Klostermann officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

Memorials may be made to her grandchildren’s education fund (checks may be made to Jared Sackett) or to the National Kidney Foundation and will be received at the funeral home.
