Justin R. Langenhorst, age 29, of Germantown, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at home.
He was born October 10, 1988 in Breese, a son of Ronald “Jack” and Mary Kay, nee Kalmer, Langenhorst of Germantown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Jason (Michelle) Langenhorst and Megan Langenhorst all of Germantown; nephews, Ethan and Logan Langenhorst; paternal grandparents, Frank and Shirley, nee Worms, Langenhorst of Germantown; godson, Cullen Hoskins; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy, nee Rakers, Kalmer; uncles, Ken Kalmer, Daniel Seelhoefer, and Don Langenhorst; and cousins, Traci Beckmann and Avery Crist.
Justin worked at Becker’s Shell in Germantown and CC Food Mart in Breese. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and was an honorary committee member of the Jared Burke Foundation. While a student at Central High School, Justin was a member of the FFA and Vocational Ag programs.
He collected die cast farm sets, loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the television show Walker, Texas Ranger, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, but most of all spending time with his family, because “family was everything”.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster presiding. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.
Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Memorials may be made to the Jared Burke Foundation or Make-A-Wish and will be received at the funeral home.
