Lola A. Koch

Lola Ann Koch, age 75, of St. Libory, IL died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.

Mrs. Koch was born October 18, 1942 in Chester, IL, a daughter of the late Louis and Alice, nee Heffner, Sauerhage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Allison Moon; siblings, Norma Jean Woliech and husband Jim, James Sauerhage and wife Barbara, Louis “Andy” Sauerhage and wife Rose, “Bud” Sauerhage and wife Eileen, and Bill Sauerhage and wife Donna; and a brother-in-law, Melvin Stueve.

She is survived by her husband Ernest “Leroy” Koch of St. Libory, whom she married April 30, 1960 in Marissa, IL; children, Erin (Cully) Neal of Havredegrace, MD, Heather Grace of Percy, IL, and Ethan Koch of St. Libory, IL; son-in-law, Tony Moon of Trenton, IL; grandchildren, Kyle, Casey, Caroline, Tessa, Elijah, Benjamin, Wyatt, and Noah; and a sister, Karen Stueve of Chester, IL.

Lola was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Marissa, IL. She enjoyed her cats, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main, Trenton, IL 62293 with Pastor Paul Hooks officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Louis Fisher House and will be received at the funeral home.
