Gary Lee Wehrle

At Rest Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet after a long illness that he fought with strength, courage and grace.

Born in Highland, IL Gary was the son of the late George and Dorothy (nee Lee) Wehrle.

Beloved Husband of 56 years to Beverly Wehrle (nee Gausepohl); Devoted and Cherished Father of Cary Wehrle and Tammy Hanchett; Proud Grandfather of Bryce, Raymond and Travis Wehrle and Cody (Katie) and Sydney Hanchett; Dear Brother of Kenny (Alice) Wehrle; Fond Uncle of Jackie (Keith), Kyle (Sarah), Todd Gausepohl and Tina (Gordon); Thoughtful Brother in Law of Ralph Gausepohl; Uncle of Tony (Melissa) Brock and Nick Brock.

Preceded in death by his Parents, his Nephew, Eric Wehrle; Sister in Law, Rosemary, Brother in Law, Mike and Mother in Law, Maxine.

A longtime resident of Minooka, Gary will be remembered as a caring neighbor and friend.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a skilled Electrician with IBEW Local # 176.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Thomas Rankin officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
