Julie Ann Breiner, age 77, of Damiansville, died Monday, August 6, 2018 at Aviston Countryside Manor in Aviston.
Mrs. Breiner was born July 2, 1941, a daughter of Conrad and Leona, nee Rakers, Eversgerd. She married LaVergne Breiner August 4, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.
Mrs. Breiner is survived by her husband; children, Deb (Doug) Laumbattus of New Athens, Dan (Lori) Breiner of Damiansville, and Dave (Judy) Breiner of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Erika and Neil Laumbattus, Clint and Emma Breiner, and Derek and Dylan Breiner; siblings, Paul (Mary) Eversgerd and Florence Kane; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Marilyn Fiedler of Belleville, Betty Santel of Damiansville, and Darlene (Alvin) Toennies of Damiansville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark Kane, James and Martha Eversgerd, Edwin Fiedler and Frank Santel.
Mrs. Breiner was a member of St. Damian Catholic Church. She previously worked in the mail room at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, after which she served as a bus driver.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown, and Friday, August 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville with Fr. Dan Friedman officiating. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Damian Catholic Church and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, who is serving the family.
