Dorothy A. Frerker, 90, of Germantown, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

 

She was born December 10, 1927 in Germantown, the daughter of Leo and Cecilia, nee Thoele, Frerker.

 

Dorothy was a homemaker and caregiver, especially for both her parents, an uncle, and an aunt. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Sodality in Germantown. Dorothy also was a volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul Society. She loved flowers, playing bingo, and of course quilting. She spent many years doing upholstery sewing for her brother-in-law Lawrence Schulte’s business.

 

Ms. Frerker was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dolores Schulte; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Schulte; and two nieces, Mary Lou Eckmann and Nancy Frerker.

 

Surviving are her brothers, Leo (Bernice) Frerker of Breese and Frank (Ruby) Frerker of Germantown; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Dorothy was a person who was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby presiding. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

 

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or in the form of masses and will be received at the funeral home.
