Full Obituary
Camille A. Gaines, nee Bohnak, 81 of Trenton, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.

Mrs. Gaines was born July 9, 1930 in E. St. Louis, IL to Mitchell and Julia (Szymanski) Bohnak; they preceded her in death.

She married Joseph C. Heil November of 1954 and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1970. She then married Robert T. Gaines on May 18, 1973 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Belleville; he preceded her in death on November 25, 2006.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Dobkowski and a brother, Tony Bohnak.

Surviving is a son, Michael (Jane) Heil of Trenton

A granddaughter, Kathy Heil.

Camille retired as the District Secretary from Ameritech and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Trenton.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 8:30-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorials can be made to the Green Bean Food Pantry, WCCSS-Trenton Senior Center, or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
