Mary K Lindsey 75 of Summerfield died Sunday March 4, 2012 at her residence.
She was born April 24, 1936 in East St. Louis, to Anthony and Margaret Ann (Krause) Gischer: they preceded her in death.
She married Frank Hackmann March 29, 1952 and he preceded her in death April of 1964. She then married Leonard “Gene” Lindsey May 18, 1968 and he preceded her in death March 7, 2002.
Also preceded in death by an infant sister Dolores Ann Gischer, a sister Marjorie Baumgardner.
Surviving are her children Debra (Ted) Deering of Mascoutah, Suzanne (Dale) McGonigal of Portland, MO, Dolores Austin of Mt Vernon, Henry (Debra) Hackmann of Summerfield, Carole Schmertman of Metropolis.
11 grandchildren Angela (Calvin) Inabinett, Ray (Tonya) Deering, Darlene McGinn, Micheal (Jessica) McGonigal, Jerry (Amy) Koerkenmeier, Jennifer (Eric) Jones, Richard (Katie) Koerkenmeier, Nancy (Fiancée Ron Cable Jr.) Hackmann, Charles Hackmann, Jolene Taylor, Tiffany Taylor.

Mary was retired dispatcher with the trucking industry. She was of the 7th day Adventist faith. Member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 58 in Belleville for 53 years, and Cahokia Trader Camping Club.
Funeral services Wednesday March 7, at 11:00 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Pastor Dale Barnhurst officiating. Interment Mt. Carmel cemetery in Belleville.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 6 from 5 to 8 PM and Wednesday March 7 from 10 to time of Services at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to Vitas Hospice in Belleville and will be received at the funeral home.
