Agnes W. “Aggie” Hilmes 74 of Breese died Sunday May 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
She was born January 9, 1938 in Breese to Herman and Catherine (Brueggemann) Deiters: they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by sons Jeff Hilmes and Gary Hilmes, daughter Pam Pitt, sisters Regina Steinmann, Dorothy Wilken, Marie Buehler, brothers Raymond, Vincent, Herman and Victor Deiters.
She married Paul “Peanuts” Hilmes February 13, 1956 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and he survives in Breese.
Also surviving are her children Deb (Cletus) Ratermann of Breese, Charles (Carla) Hilmes of Breese, Diane (Alfred) Holtgrave of St. Rose, Mike “Red” (Chris) Hilmes of Breese, Kevin (Vanessa) Hilmes of Breese.
13 grandchildren Greg (friend Teresa) Ratermann, Scott (friend Mary) Ratermann, Eric (friend Nikki) Ratermann, Cierra Hilmes, Tammy (DJ) Grindstaff, Lara (friend Josh) Holtgrave, Brad (friend Melanie) Holtgrave, Kristen Hilmes, Matthew Hilmes, Bailey Hilmes, Garrett Hilmes, Justin Hilmes, Tyler Hilmes.
2 great grandchildren Alex Brown and Emma Ratermann.
Son –in-law Mike Pitt of Breese.

Aggie retried from Rockwell International in Centralia.
Member of St. Augustine Church and Ladies Sodality in Breese. United Auto Workers Local #1766 in Centralia.
Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. James Deiters and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday May 8 from 4 to 8 PM and Wednesday May 9 from 9 to 10:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Research or the Donor’s Choice and will be received at the funeral home. .
