Deborah D. Mezo (Nee Quitmeyer) of Mt Vernon and formerly of Trenton died Wednesday May 16, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
She was born August 22, 1953 in Breese to Wilma (Meddows) Gerse the late Bernard Quitmeyer.
Preceded in death by her life partner Donald “Buck” Rodgers, a sister Donna Horan, brother Joseph Quitmeyer. Step father Erwin Gerse.
She is survived by her mother Wilma (friend Al Lawson) Gerse of Belleville
A daughter Enjoli (Eric) Bernard of Rockledge FL.
A brother David (Susan) Quitmeyer of Trenton
Sisters Sherry (Don) Reilmann of Jefferson City, MO, Beverly (Bruce) Brooks of Semi Valley, CA
Brother-in-law Pat (Frankie) Horan of Aviston
Nieces and nephews Kimberly (Steve) Devine, Sean (Cindy) Reilmann, Jennifer (Ken) Monken, Heather (Jay) Mueller, Jaime (Jeff) Martinov, Nicholas (Jen) Brooks, Bryan (fiancée Mariam) Brooks, Anna Quitmeyer. Many great nieces and great nephews.
Deborah worked as RN at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt Vernon
Memorial Mass will be Saturday May 19, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating.
Friends may call from 10:00 am to time of service Saturday May 19 at St. Mary Church, Trenton
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Donors’ Choice and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is handling the arrangements.
