Joan M. Hintz 71 of Germantown died Thursday May 31, 2012 at her residence.

She was born April 1, 1941 in Germantown to George and Frances (Heidemann) Pille; they preceded her in death.

Also preceded in death by a son Todd Hintz, a brother Richard Pille, sisters Dolores “Peppy” Schroeder, Mildred Dollard, brothers-in-law Robert Dollard, Louis Winter, Erwin Winkeler, Bernell Schniers, sisters-in-law Virginia Pille, Mary Gail Schniers

She married Donald Hintz June 25, 1965 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and he survives.

Also surviving are children Tim (Susan) Hintz of New Baden, Jennifer (friend Chris Gansner) Hintz of Germantown.

2 grandchildren Cassidy and Calvin Hintz

Joan was retired after 32years as an Administrative Assistant at the 375th Air Lift Wing at Scott Air Force Base

Member of St. Boniface Church and Ladies Sodality.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Saturday June 2, 2012 at 9:00 AM at St. Boniface Church with Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday June 2, 2012 from 8 to 9:00 AM at St. Boniface Church in Germantown.

Memorials can be made to the donor’s Choice and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
