Juanita D. “Jay” Johnston, age 91, of Carlyle, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Aviston Countryside Manor.
She was born October 16, 1930 in San Francisco, CA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Frances, nee Rubio, Alhona.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Johnston, whom she married in July 1969; daughter, Debra Mevis; son, Don Liccio; siblings, Anthony Alhona, Adelaide (Robert) Jackson; Louise (Dean) Fulton; Raymond (Chris) Alhona, and Richard Alhona.
Surviving are her daughters, Joanne Liccio of Las Vegas, NV and Diana (Dean) Smith of Carlyle; son-in-law, Bruce Mevis of Pahrump, NV; Christina Liccio and nine additional grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan (Tina) Alhona of Applegate, CA; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Alhona and Patricia Alhona both of CA.
Jay was a homemaker.
There will be no services.
