Dolores A, “Del” Meyer 71 of Bartelso died Friday September 21, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.
She was born June 15, 1941 in Germantown to Bernard and Veronica (Linnemann) Deerhake: they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by an infant son Eric Meyer, brothers Paul Deerhake, Tom Deerhake, brother-in-law Cyril “Mickey” Becker, sister-in-law Bernice Meyer
She married Albert Meyer December 28, 1963 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and he survives in Bartelso.
Also surviving are daughters Donna (partner Michele Berkel) Meyer of Godfrey, Shelly (John) McRoy of Bartelso, Melissa Meyer of Germantown, Amanda (Brandon) Brockmeier of Okawville
3 grandchildren Taylor and Dalton McRoy, Bodie Brockmeier
A brother Larry (Betty) Deerhake of Germantown
Sisters Alice (Norbert) Pingsterhaus of Germantown, Marilyn (Bill) Hohenstein of Virginia

Del currently owned and operated Del Meyer Catering, and was a teacher at St. Augustine school in Breese and former owner of Bartelso Lumber.
Member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and altar sodality.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Monday September 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso with Fr. Henry Fischer officiating. Interment St. Cecilia Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday September 23 from 2 to 6 PM and Monday September 24 from 11:00 am to 1:30 Pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
