Kevin M. Cochran, 47, of Edwardsville, Illinois passed away surrounded by his loved ones Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Kevin was born April 3, 1974 in Belleville, Illinois; the son of the late John S. and Martha “Marti” (Stewart) Cochran.
Kevin loved fishing, cooking, magic, attending Revive Church in Collinsville, IL, the St Louis Cardinals, and the Kansas City Chiefs. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his children.
To his family and friends, Kevin was known as the jokester who loved to make people laugh and smile. His smile was infectious and would instantly light up a room.
His personality, smile, firm handshake, and giving nature will live on through the years and he will be remembered for the love and special times he spent with his family and friends
He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his best friend and fiancé, Louise Cox of Edwardsville, Illinois; cherished children, son, Chrisitan Cochran of Troy, IL; daughter, Krista Cochran of Troy, IL; “best buddy” Johnny Cavins of Edwardsville, IL; sister, Kelli Cochran; nephews Nicholas, Collan, and Decoda; niece Victoria; and other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at Revive Church at a future date to be determined.
Memorials in honor of Kevin may be made to the wishes of the family, checks payable to Christian Cochran, and will be received by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
