Albert J. Rakers 85 of Trenton died Thursday October 25, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
He was born January 25, 1927 in Aviston, to Frank and Bertha (Huelsmann) Rakers: they preceded him in death.
He married Sylvia Litteken November 23, 1949 at St. Francis Church in Aviston; she preceded him in death July 2, 2009.
Also preceded in death by a grandson John Colvin Jr., a granddaughter Charity Peek, brothers Maurice Rakers and Marcellus Rakers, brothers-in-law Don Mueller, Bob Gerstner, Jim Hollenkamp, Dave Litteken, Dan Litteken., sister-in-law Mary Litteken.
Surviving are his daughters Elaine (John) Colvin of Trenton, Bonnie (Rob McLean) Weinacht of Highland, Paula (Dale) Peek of Aviston, Jane (Marvin) Hollenkamp of Aviston, Joan (Jay) Blair of Manito.

Member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Men’s Holy Name Society, Honorary life member of the Trenton Knights of Columbus.
Mass of Christian burial will be Monday October 29, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday October 28 from 2 to 5 Pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Knights of Columbus services will be Sunday October 28 at 4:30 at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
