Angela Blanche Venhaus 87 of Trenton died Sunday July 21, 2013 at Clinton Manor in New Baden.
She was born September 4, 1925 in Highland to John and Ann (Schumacher) Luber: they preceded her in death.
She married Lawrence “Pep” Venhaus August 27, 1949 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland and he preceded her in death June 22, 2007.
Also preceded in death by brothers Leonard Luber, Walt Luber, Bernard Luber, Jack Luber, sisters Lucille Kapp, Joan Reim, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Marion Luber, Louis Kapp, Harold Reim, Bill Holshouser, Edwin Venhaus, Florence and Cletus Holtgrave, Frieda and Joseph Kohlbrecher, Orville Kues, Marcella Venhaus, Ludwig Venhaus, Alma and Edmund Rohling, Marie Venhaus.
Surviving are her children Carolyn (Douglas) Franey of Trenton, Jeanne (Jim) Stein of Frisco, CO, Sandy (Bob) Sullivan of Evanston, Tom “Rusty” (Christy) Venhaus of Trenton
4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
A sister Marge Holshouser of Highland.

Blanche worked at GTE Telephone as a switchboard operator, and Highland Supply. She had fond love for her grandchildren, enjoyed her time with family and friend playing cards, dancing, reading and shopping and her flower garden.
Member of St Mary Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Trenton, VFW Auxiliary in Trenton.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday July 25, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday July 24 from 5 to 8 PM and Thursday July 25 from 8:30 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral Home
VFW Auxiliary will hold services 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home
