AnnaJeanne developed a deep-rooted sense of faith, family, and hard work growing up on a dairy farm. She and Andrew continued that tradition, dairy farming for 36 years. She also worked as a phlebotomist at Highland Hospital in her early 20’s and was a dedicated volunteer at St. Rose School and Twin Oaks Golf Course, where her famous potato salad was a favorite among patrons.
A woman of many talents, AnnaJeanne was an avid quilter, creating hundreds of beautiful quilts over the years. She enjoyed playing euchre with family (two-time Kampwerth Bid-Euchre Champion) and friends and was known for her delicious homemade pies, cookies, and picnic pickles. Her sweet and kind nature meant she never met a stranger, and her remarkable memory allowed her to recall family connections spanning generations. More than anything, she cherished being with family.
She was a devoted member of St. Rose Catholic Church, participating in the Altar Sodality and adult choir. She was also active in the St. Rose Development Club, served as president of the Mater Dei Mothers and Friends, and was a member of the Holstein Friesian Association of America.
