    Carolyn A. Lyons, age 67, of Summerfield, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital. She was born March 15, 1958, in Big Spring, TX, a daughter of the late Howard Lyons and Genevieve (nee Lager) Feldt.

     

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Forrest Feldt, Sr.

     

    Carolyn is survived by her siblings, Sug Lyons of Summerfield, Kelly (Ralph) Burrow of Mascoutah, Linda Feldt of Breese, Forrest “Butch” (Lori) Feldt, Jr. of Mukwonago, WI, and Cody (Amy) Feldt of Lebanon; and nephew and niece, Devin (Megan) Feldt and Megan Feldt.

     

    Carolyn dedicated many years of her career to Provider Plus, where she worked as a customer service representative. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, a proud member of the Jaycees, and formerly served as a trustee board member for the Village of Summerfield.

     

    She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, watching movies and visiting the theater, traveling, making handmade cards through stamping, listening to classic rock, and enjoying Sunday drives. Carolyn had a special love for her dogs, especially Tillie, Nora, Phoebee, and Maggie, who brought her great comfort and companionship.

     

    Funeral Service will be Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Deacon Glenn Netemeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Summerfield Cemetery.

     

    Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

     

    In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St Louis or the Wounded Warrior Foundation and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
