    Casey M. Renschen, age 42, of Germantown, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020.


    He was born March 20, 1978 in Breese, the son of H. Mark and Brenda, nee Kuhl, Renschen of Breese.


    In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Robin “Rueben” Renschen of Bartelso; fiancée, Stacey Tebbe of Germantown, whom he was to marry April 3, 2021; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck and Jackie, nee Rehkemper, Tebbe of Highland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jared (Amy) Tebbe of St. Rose; niece and nephew, Macy and Jase Tebbe; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.


    Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent and Bernice, nee Ripperda, Kuhl and Alvin and Johanna, nee Kues, Renschen.


    After high school, Casey attended Universal Technical Institute in Chicago. He began his career working at Toennies Service Co. in Damiansville and was currently employed at Kohnen Heating and Air Conditioning in Germantown.


    Casey was a member of St. Boniface Church in Germantown, Sheet Metal Workers Local 268-Caseyville, and was a dedicated board member of the Jared Burke Foundation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going on hunting trips with the Jared Burke Foundation, watching the Cardinals and Blues, but most of all hanging out with family and friends. Casey had a heart of gold and he never met a stranger.


    Graveside Service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Cemetery in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster officiating.


    Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.  (Masks are required at the visitation)


    In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the Jared Burke Foundation and will be received at the funeral home.
