Catherine F. “Katie” Siegmann 79 of Aviston died Sunday November 15, 2015 at Countryside Manor in Aviston
She was born December 1, 1935 in Aviston to George and Catherine (Wellen) Timmermann: they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by her brothers Paul Timmermann, Urban Timmermann, George Timmermann, Raymond Timmermann, sisters Esther Brady, Marie Povolish, brothers-in-law Wally Schroeder, Ray Brady, Elmer Singler, Paul Povolish, sister-in-law Kay Timmermann.
Surviving is a daughter Beverly (Bill) Haake of Highland.
Grandsons Matthew and Michael Haake.
Brothers Walter (Lucy) Timmermann of Calabash North Carolina, David “Jeff” (Mary Jane) Timmermann of Germantown
Sisters Delores (George) Glover of Napa, CA, Edna (Mike) Banco of Great Falls MT.
Sisters-in-law Julie Timmermann of Trenton, Marilyn Timmermann of Phoenix, AZ, Marie Timmermann of Breese, Lynn Timmerman of VA.
Katie owned and operated Katie’s Beauty Shop in Aviston from 1964 to 2015 and was the beautician at Countryside Manor for 27 years. She enjoyed playing euchre and bingo.
Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be Friday November 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston. Fr. Daniel Friedman officiating. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Aviston.
Family will greet relatives and friends Friday November 20, 2015 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the visitation or through Moss Funeral Home in Breese who is handling the arrangements.
