Clark E. “Eric” Gaffner

Clark E. "Eric" Gaffner, age 58 formerly of Pana, Nashville, and Breese, IL, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in St. Rose Twp., IL.

Mr. Gaffner was born September 4, 1956 in Pana, IL to the late Max and Marian, nee Rider, Gaffner.

He married Joan Grapperhaus and they later divorced.

Surviving are his sons, Galen Gaffner of Austin, TX and Garrett Gaffner of Breese, IL; siblings, Mark Gaffner and wife Mary of Lenoir City, TN and Deb (Wayne) Auld of Nashville, IL; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Eric received his B.S. in Criminology and Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He formerly worked as a Probation Officer, Counselor, and in Car Sales.

He was a member of Central Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, IL.

A Celebration of Life gathering will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Buxton's in Beckemeyer, IL.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions can be made to Galen and Garrett Gaffner and will be received at Buxton's or through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 which is serving the family.
