Dolores L. Poettker 80 of Breese died Monday April 1, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
She was born May 2, 1932 in Albers, IL to George and Mary (Huene) Holtmann: they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by brothers Raymond and Clarence Holtmann, sisters Loretta Schwend, Alice Toennies, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Calvin Schwend, Bill Spaeth, Ronald Huegen, Isabelle Holtmann, Joe and Alvera Poettker, Cletus Poettker, Sr. Doris Poettker, Ralph Netemeyer
She married Cyril Poettker July 18, 1950 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers and he survives in Breese.
Also surviving are her children Shirley (Leon) Langenhorst of St. Rose, Doris (Brandon) Phillips of Centralia, Ken (Terri) Poettker of Centralia, Sharon (Michael) Bacca of Orlando, FL, Deb Lake of Breese, Jerry (Laura) Poettker of St. Charles, MO, Dennis (special friend Sandy Munro) of Mascoutah, Lori Hankins of Breese.

Dolores was a homemaker and worked in the housekeeping department at Breese Nursing Home. She enjoyed time with her family and sewing.
Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and lifetime member of the St. Dominic Church Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass of Christian will be Thursday April 4 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patric Peter and Deacon Glen Netemeyer officiating. Interment St. Dominic - St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 3, from 4 to 8 PM and Thursday April 4 from 8 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
