Ernest B. “Ernie” Ades 66 of Germantown died Saturday September 26, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born July 19, 1949 in Breese to Ernest A. and Marcella (Diesen) Ades: they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by a brother Dale Ades, father-in-law and mother-in-law Eddie and Marie Calliott, niece Kristy Kuper, brothers-in-law Marvin Jansen and John Calliott.

He married Mary Calliott January 17, 1970 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and she survives.

Also surviving are his children Jennifer (John) Arentsen of Germantown, Cheryl (Brett) Moss of Breese, Dale Ades of Germantown.

3 grandchildren Noah Arentsen, Keegan and Conner Ades.

A brother David (Renee) Ades of Fairview Heights, Sisters Theresa (Jeff) Wessel of Germantown, Ruth (Kevin) Kuper of Wright City, MO

Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Pat Calliott or Fairview Heights, Eddie (Linda) Calliott of Chesterfield, MO, Ruth (Jeff) Nowakowski of Swansea

Ernie retired from Lucent Tech. Inc in Ballwin, MO He loved spending time with his grandsons, and enjoyed golfing and gardening.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday September 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday September 28 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday September 29 from 8:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Memorials can be made to American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.
