James Michael Waggoner, 21, of Aviston, IL, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 near Germantown, Illinois.
James was born Oct 17, 1991 at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama to Jamie and Susan (nee Cannon) Waggoner; they survive in Aviston, Illinois.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by a sister, Sarah Waggoner of Aviston, IL; maternal grandparents, Carol & Frank Reynolds of Russellville, Arkansas and Doug & Carol Cannon of White Hall, Arkansas; paternal grandparents, Mary Hollabaugh of Russellville, Arkansas and John Hollabaugh of London, Arkansas; maternal great-grandmother, Sue Culp of Russellville, Arkansas; paternal great-grandparents, JoAnn Cousar of Russellville, Arkansas and Ted Waggoner of Belle Plaine, Kansas; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Evan Waggoner; paternal grandfather, Jim Waggoner; maternal great-grandparents, Harold Culp and O.C. & Lucy Cannon; paternal great-grandparents, Nancy Tull and T.A. Cousar.
James graduated in 2010 from Central Community High School in Breese, Illinois where he was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and the Scholar Bowl, Football, and Track Teams and was currently enrolled in the Computer Science Program at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Illinois where he was named to the Dean’s List in spring of 2012. He was currently employed at Pizza Market in Breese, IL.
He was a member of Carlyle Christian Church, Carlyle, Illinois and he loved to play his guitar. James will always be remembered for being intelligent, witty, caring for others and loving his sister Sarah and his brother Evan.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 PM and a funeral service will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Shinn Funeral Service in Russellville, Arkansas. www.shinnfuneral.com
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 7:00-8:00 PM at the Carlyle Christian Church, Carlyle, IL
