Jean M. Koch

Jean M. Koch, nee Koppers, age 87, of Trenton, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.

Mrs. Koch was born October 26, 1929 in Breese, a daughter of the late Vincent and Verna, nee Ganz, Koppers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband Louis Koch whom she married July 9, 1965 in Highland and he died January 31, 1992; step-daughter, Sharon Haar; and sister, Janet Crabb and her husband William.

She is survived by her son, Harvey Guenther of Trenton; step-son, Dennis Koch of Highland; step-son-in-law, Stan Haar of Highland; grandson, Matt Haar; niece and nephew, Connie (Carl) Petersen of Harland, IA and Craig Crabb of Lake Ozark, MO; and daughter-in-law, Candy Guenther of Highland.

Jean formerly worked for Dr. Pulgram in Trenton and later retired from central supply at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Trenton and Central Service Organization. Jean enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and going to the casino.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Deacon John Fridley presiding. Burial of cremains will follow in Highland City Cemetery, Highland.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Association and will be received at the funeral home.
