Jean M. Mueller, nee Rakers, age 89, of Trenton, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital.

 

Mrs. Mueller was born December 22, 1928 in Aviston, a daughter of the late Frank and Bertha, nee Huelsmann, Rakers.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Mueller, whom she married February 23, 1949 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston and he died May 23, 1992; brothers, Marcel, Maurice, Bert, and Jerry Rakers; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sylvia Rakers, Dolly Rakers, Bob Gerstner, Joan Rakers, and Jim Hollenkamp.

 

Surviving are her children, Michael Mueller of Trenton, Kathy (Gary) Kerksick of Trenton, and Lynn Mueller of New Minden; grandchildren, Kelly (Scott) Frisella, Chad (Adrien) Kerksick, and Brittany (Jay) Strieker; great-grandchildren, Camden and Emery Kerksick, Tyler and Tanner Frisella, Tucker and Tinley Strieker; siblings, Ruth Gerstner, Carl Rakers, Bob (Jane) Rakers, Betty (Leonard) Voss, Dennis Rakers, Virgil (Bev) Rakers, and Mary (Larry) Howell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Jean was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Memorial Mass will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher presiding. Private burial of cremains will take place in Trenton Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton.

 

Memorials may be made to Clinton County Relay for Life and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main, Trenton, IL 62293 who is serving the Mueller family.
