Joseph G. Sprehe 92 of Germantown died Friday September 28, 2012 at Country Side Manor in Aviston.
He was born August 18, 1920 in Germantown to John and Mary (Schlautmann) Sprehe: they preceded him in death.
He married Loretta Kassen May 5, 1943 at St. Bernard Church in Albers and she preceded him in death February 4, 2006.
Also preceded in death by a grandson Samuel Sprehe, sisters Irene Tebbe, Henrietta Diesen, Catherine Hilmes, Annie Diesen, Josephine Singler, Alice Woltering.
He is survived by his children Jessie (Tom) Markus of Aviston, Pat Sprehe of Germantown, Dave (Rita) Sprehe of Carlyle, Jim (Jackie) Sprehe of Germantown.
10 grandchildren Kelly (Gina) Markus, Jody (Vince) Albers, Ryan (Tammy) Markus, Nicole (Cory) Gebke, Jenny (special friend Todd Toennies) Kampwerth, Kristen ( special friend Adam Gammon) Stock, Jonathan Sprehe, Nathan Sprehe, Julianna Sprehe, Jessica Sprehe.
15 great grandchildren..
Joe was a self employed painter.
Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.
Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday October 1 from 4 to 8 PM and Tuesday October 2 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
