Judy G. Ogden, nee Stone, age 81, of New Baden, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 23, 1940 in DeKalb County, AL, a daughter of the late Parks and Delean, nee Stanley, Stone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Ogden, whom she married September 25, 1963 in Ft. Worth, TX and he died January 8, 2014; and siblings, Elizabeth Stowe, Edwin Stone, Johnny Stone, and Bobby Stone.
Judy is survived by her children, Brenda Gibson of Tatum, SC, Kevin (Cindy) Ogden, Cheryl (Loren Drummond) Ogden-Drummond, and Tina Kirgan all of New Baden; grandchildren, Deleana Roller, Amanda (Charles Tincher) Ogden, Kevin Ogden, Jr., Kayla Madison, Brandon Madison, and Nick Thoele; great-grandchildren, Leah Roller, Nathan and Brittany Grooms, Jayden Davis, Lily Ogden, and Cameron Tincher; and a brother, Stanley (Pam) Stone of Texas;
Judy formerly worked as a waitress at the New Baden Bowling Alley and the Corner Lounge in New Baden, and also worked at the Dairy Queen in White Settlement, TX. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to auctions and yard sales, but above all spending time with her family.
A private family graveside service will be held in Greenmount Cemetery in New Baden.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the Ogden family.
