Kenneth J. Benhoff, 53, of St. Rose, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.
Mr. Benhoff was born April 22, 1958 in Breese, IL to Paul and Jeanette (Schrage) Benhoff; they survive in St. Rose.
He married Debbie Fischer on June 2, 1978 at St. Rose Catholic Church; she survives in St. Rose.
Also surviving are sons, Justin (Pam) Benhoff of Carlyle and Ryan (Kimberly) Benhoff of Ballwin, MO; 2 granddaughters, Alayna and Mariah Benhoff; brothers and sisters, Matthew (Pat) Benhoff of St. Rose, Marilyn (Alan) Schorfheide of O’Fallon; Steve (Maggie) Benhoff of Troy, and Deb (John Elliot) Benhoff of St. Louis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Mary Lou (Grapperhaus) Fischer of St. Rose; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeannie (Brad) Korte of Highland, Karen (Brian) Humphrey of Manchester, NH, Ken (Dawn) Fischer of Highland, Mary (Tim Steurer) Zeisset of O’Fallon, Charlie (Synthea) Fischer of St. Louis, Edward (Madonna) Fischer of Highland, Linda (Myron) Schrage of Nashville, TN, Lisa (Erick) Baer of St. Rose, and Dan (Sarah) Fischer of Denver, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken was currently employed in inventory with Cooper B-Line in Highland.
He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Men’s Sodality, St. Rose Development Club, and was an active member at Twin Oaks Golf Club in Keyesport.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Rose Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, St. Rose.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 4:00-9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School or to St. Rose Catholic Church and will be received at the funeral home.
