    Kenneth L. Roesselet, age 73, of Breese, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Aviston Countryside Manor.

     

    He was born February 25, 1946 in Highland, a son of the late Leroy and Irene, nee Holzinger, Roesselet.

     

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gloria, nee Goewert, Roesselet, whom he married May 11, 1968 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese and who died September 19, 2010; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Florence, nee Schniers, Goewert.

     

    Surviving are daughters Michelle (Sean) Kennedy of Albers and Lisa (Chad) Bade of Breese; grandchildren, Katelyn and Alexandra Kennedy and Colin, Ashton, and Zane Bade; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Joan Powless and Carol and Ken Mulvin all of Breese.

     

    Ken was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War and later worked as a press operator at World Color Press in Salem. After retiring, he drove a school bus for the Breese School District and also drove for Community Link in Breese. Kenny just recently quit going to Harlingen, Texas, where he called home for 5 years during the winter months.

     

    He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese, Highland VFW Post 5694 where he was a past commander, Breese American Legion Post 252, Clinton County Vietnam Veterans Chapter 269, and the Rusty Rodz Car Club in Highland. Kenny enjoyed camping and loved his 2007 Mustang and attending his grandkids school and sports events.

     

    Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Deacon Kevin Templin officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.

     

    Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

     

    Memorials may be made to the Clinton County Vietnam Veterans Chapter 269 or the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.

     

    The Highland VFW, Breese American Legion, and Clinton County Vietnam Veterans will all hold services beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
