Lavern R. Schmitt 58 of Summerfield died Saturday December 7, 2013 at his residence.
He was born November 23, 1955 in Highland to George “Butch” and Florine (Siegel) Schmitt: they preceded him in death.
Surviving are his brothers Herb (Ann) Schmitt of Trenton, Cyril Schmitt of Trenton, Don (Kathy) Schmitt of Summerfield, Jerry Schmitt of Summerfield.
Sister Mary Schmitt of Fairview Heights.
Many close and dear friends.
Lavern was a rental property owner, talented man in construction and mechanics and loved fishing on his property at Carlyle Lake.
In keeping with his wishes all services are private.
