Lillian L. Welz, 100, of Trenton, died Wednesday June 26, 2013 at her residence in Trenton.
She was born October 12, 1912 in Belleville, IL to Otto and Sophia (Mallrich) Teichmann: they preceded her in death.
She married Cornell Welz April 4, 1934 in New Baden and he preceded her in death December 30, 1974.
Also preceded in death by brothers and wives Laurel & Catherine Teichmann, Francis & Trudy Teichmann, John & Jimmie Teichmann, a daughter-in-law Pat Welz
She is survived by her son Neal Welz and friend Corine Duft of Highland
3 grandchildren Todd (Carolyn) Welz, Craig Welz, Eric (Leah) Welz,
5 great grandchildren Hayley, Shanna, Austin, Evan and Griffin Welz
She was a homemaker and member of St. John United church of Christ in Trenton, Life time member of the Trenton VFW Auxiliary, Red Hat Ladies.
Memorial service will be July 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton.
