Lorraine Koenig 96 of Trenton died Friday February 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

She was born April 8, 1917 in Oakdale, IL to Walter and Frances (McClay) Maxwell: they preceded her in death.

She married Albert Koenig October 3, 1936 in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death September 1, 2001.
Surviving are Nieces, Nephews and cousins
Lorraine was a retired middle school teacher having retired from Sparta Grade school.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton, St. John’s Woman’s Guild, and Illinois Retired Teachers Association.

Funeral services Monday February 18, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Linda Coulson officiating. Interment Oakdale Cemetery, Oakdale, IL

Visitation will be held on Monday February 18 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton.

Memorials can be made to St. John United church of Christ and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is handling the arrangements.
