Mary Magdalene Ortegel 86 of Breese and formerly of Chicago died Sunday December 30, 2012 at Carlyle health Care Center, in Carlyle
She was born July 5, 1926 in Chicago to John and Mary Magdalene (Pietsch) Ortegel: they preceded her in death.
She is survived by a sister Bernadette (Paul) Hayes of Westby WI.
Many nieces and nephews and close friends in Breese and Germantown.
Mary was a director of Housekeeping and sanitation in the hospital field.
She attended both St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese.
Memorial Mass Friday January 4, 2013 at 10:00 am St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, with Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
