      Mike J. Hamilton, age 63 of Beckemeyer, born February 4, 1953 in Beckemeyer, a son of the late James “Jim” and Amanda, nee Truetken, Hamilton, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.

       

      In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Hamilton; his father-in-law, George Schneider; and his special friend, Patricia Stoffel.

       

      Surviving is his wife, Ruth, nee Schneider, Hamilton of Beckemeyer whom he married September 25, 2010 in Keyesport; his children, Mike (Stephanie) Hamilton of Carlyle, Keith (Tara) Hamilton of Breese, Dawn (special friend Jesse Walker) Hamilton of Carlyle, Chris Hamilton of Breese, Joey (Monica) Stoffel of Centralia, Linda (Zachary) Boulware of Carlyle, Amanda (special friend Dustin Hoffman) Stewart of Breese, and Abby (special friend Kevin Giller) Calloway of Beckemeyer; 16 grandchildren, Mallory, Michael, and Mitchell Hamilton, Logan and Abby Hamilton, Mary Jane and Joey Stoffel, Ashley and Nick Stoffel, Alycia Wintermann, Braden Hamilton, Kaiden Stoffel, River and Haley Boulware, Haleigh and Liam Hoffman; 1 great-grandson, Hunter Stoffel; brothers, Jerry (Diana) Hamilton and Danny Hamilton all of Beckemeyer; his mother-in-law, Catherine Helfrich of Beckemeyer; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Stella Hamilton of Rushville, Mike (Joanna) Schneider of Imperial, MO, Paul (Peggy) Schneider of Imperial, MO, Barb (Dave) Pullen of Hillsboro, MO, and Brian (Jan) Helfrich of Beckemeyer.

       

      Mike formerly worked at Germantown Egg Co. and Foppe Amoco, and was currently employed at Southern Bus and Mobility. He enjoyed playing pool, riding his Harley Davidson, and was known for his contagious laughter.

       

      Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the BCDC Park in Beckemeyer.

       

      Memorials may be made to the Beckemeyer Community Development Club and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Breese who is serving the family.
