Paula B. Ottensmeier, nee Neumann, 60, of Trenton, died Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Faith Countryside in Highland.
She was born March 1, 1952, in Highland to Wilbur and Grace (Willeke) Neumann: they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Marcellus Ottensmeier.
She married James Ottensmeier October 16, 1976, at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton and he survives in Trenton.
Also surviving are her children Shelly (Dan) Hennessy of Collinsville, Ryan (Brittany) Ottensmeier of Belleville.
A granddaughter Allison Hennessy
A brother Jeff (Mary) Neumann of Niles MI.
Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bernice (Wib) Kampwerth of Bartelso, Rita Ottensmeier of Trenton, Norb (Dee) Ottensmeier of Breese, Eugene Ottensmeier of Trenton, Mary Lou (Hank) Feldmann of Aviston, Bernie Ottensmeier of Albers, Dorothy (Mike) Kirkland of Alabaster, AL, Patricia Ottensmeier of Kennesaw, GA, Charlene (Rich) Hesker of Mascoutah.
Numerous nieces and nephews.
Paula retired after 35 years with the EPA as a secretary, and from Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton as church secretary. She also played the organ at church and taught organ and piano lesson for over 10 years.
Member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton, VFW Auxiliary in Trenton and Clinton County Bowling Association and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
Funeral Services will be Saturday December 8, 2012, at 11:00 am at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton with Pastor Bob Marsh officiating. Interment Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday December 7 from 4 to 8 pm at the Moss Funeral home in Trenton and Saturday December 8 from 9 to time of services at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or Grace Community Baptist Church Building Fund and will be received at the funeral home or church.
VFW Auxiliary services Friday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
