Ressie Mae Woodcock, age 91, formerly of Trenton, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Clinton Manor in New Baden.

She was born March 27, 1928 in Salem, AR, a daughter of the late Albert Kenneth and Mary Albertha, nee Brinsfeld, Duck .

She married Herbert Woodcock March 19, 1949 in Pickett, AR; he preceded her in death March 23, 2002.

Ressie is survived by her children Rita (Joe) Crabtree of Lebanon and Herbert Gregory “Greg” (Tina) Woodcock of New Baden; son-in-law Danny Green of Trenton; grandchildren, Jason (Kristie) Green, Jeremy (Cheryl) Green, Christina (Brad) Snyder, Joseph Kyle Crabtree, and Dylan Gregory Woodcock; great-grandchildren, Natasha Green, Savannah Green, and Benjamin Green; and brother Albert Ray “Jack” Duck of England, AR.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Kay Green; and siblings Curry Duck, Tressie Berna, James “Red” Duck, Vessie “Earl” Duck, and Essie Mayes.

Ressie was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, embroidery, and gardening.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Reverend Dr. Don Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery in New Baden.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association and will be received at Moss Funeral Home, who is serving the family.
