Richard D. “Luke” Lucas

Richard Dale “Luke” Lucas Sr. 70 of Shattuc died Monday July 30, 2012 at his residence.

He was born July 31, 1941 in Zanesville, OH to Harry and Evelyn (Pressgrave) Lucas: they preceded him in death.

Married Ramona Reeves and she preceded him in death. He then married Barbara Sears in 1991 and she preceded him in death 2008.

Also preceded in death by a son Richard Lucas Jr., a brother Robert “Bob” Lucas.

Surviving are sons Shane (Crystal) Lucas of Boulder, Brady (friend Leann Carter) Lucas of Patoka.

6 grandchildren Jamie (Curt) Kohrmann, Hollie (Micah) Sensel, Sarah Norton, Mason Lucas, Joshua Lucas, Landen Carter.

A great grandchild Kamdyn Kohrmann

Brothers Tom (Kathy) Lucas of Nobel, Mick Pickney of Whisper Pines FL.

Luke was employed with Dresser-Rand for 43 years.

A veteran of the United States Navy.

Private graveside services with full military honors accorded will be held at McKendree Chapel Cemetery in Keyesport.

Memorials can be made to Stop Elderly Abuse and Neglect Center and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Breese who is handling the arrangements.
