Richard W. Ranz, age 87 of Breese and formerly of rural Trenton, born April 15, 1928 in rural Trenton, a son of William and Frieda, nee Gieseke, Ranz, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.
Mr. Ranz was a retired farmer and a veteran of the United States Army. He owned two airplanes and enjoyed flying.
He was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton.
Richard was preceded in death by his brothers and their wives, Howard and Elva Ranz, Lester and Eleanor Ranz, and Clifford Ranz; and is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton with Pastor Bob Marsh officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton and again on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to Grace Community Baptist Church and will be received at the funeral home and at the church.
