Ronald W. Mehring, MSgt. USAF, Ret., age 81 of Trenton and formerly of New Baden, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.
Mr. Mehring was born January 8, 1934 in Belleville, IL to Walter and Selma, nee Spier, Mehring; they preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Frieda, nee Holzner, Mehring, whom he married February 7, 1957 in Bitburg, Germany, and died December 29, 2012; and a son-in-law, Jerome Haar.
Surviving is his daughter, Carrol Haar of Trenton; a granddaughter, Dallas Haar of Trenton; and a brother, Larry Mehring and wife Mary Lou of Red Bud.
A private graveside service will take place at Trenton Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton County Humane Society and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is in charge of the arrangements.
