    Sandra Kay Heimbecker, age 62 of Beckemeyer, and formerly of Germantown, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

    Mrs. Heimbecker was born March 23, 1952 in Ottumwa, IA to Mescal “Mickey”, nee Williams, and Clarence Vernon Barker; they preceded her in death.

    In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Wyatt Guthrie; and sisters, Sharon Tate and Sue VanDusen.

    She married Bill Heimbecker on May 8, 1971 and he survives in Germantown, IL.

    In addition, she is also survived by her children, Shanon Schroeder of Savannah, GA, Carol (Steve) Deien of Aviston, Willie Heimbecker of Germantown, John (fiancée Annie Grimm) Heimbecker of O’Fallon, and Katie (Kevin) Schlautmann of Beckemeyer; 7 grandchildren, Casey and Haley Schroeder, Andrew and Kelsey Deien, Chase and Blake Heimbecker, and Fallon Schlautmann.; and siblings, Shyrel (Greg) Kelley, Sonya White, Mike (Vera) Nelson all of Kentucky and Sheila Walls of Nebraska.

    Sandy worked in accounting for White Star Silos in Germantown, IL and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, IL. She enjoyed quilting and going on motorcycle rides.

    Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, IL with Fr. James Buerster officiating.

    Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown, IL.

    Memorials can be made to Faith for Fallon Schlautmann and will be received at the funeral home.
