Steve C. Frohn, age 59, of Aviston, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Canton, OH. He was born December 7, 1966, in Breese, a son of the late Charles and Joan (nee Langhauser) Frohn.
Steve married Amy Frohn (nee Haller) on September 7, 1991, at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland and she survives in Aviston. Steven is also survived by his children, Abby (Ben) Hahn of Colorado Springs, CO, Cody (Makayla) Frohn of Aviston, Zane Frohn of Aviston; grandchildren, Braylon, Leni, and Noa Frohn; siblings, Tom (Tonya) Frohn of Aviston and Amanda Howell of Troy, MO; father-in-law, Terry Haller of Highland; brother-in-law, Tad (Lisa) Haller of Baton Rouge, LA; nieces and nephews; granddogs, Moose, Luna, Kima, and Mabel; and grand-guinea pig, Picasso.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Lynn (nee Kuabel) Haller.
Steve was a lifelong truck driver and drove for Zachry Farms in Carlyle for the past 15 years where he took great pride in his work. He was an active member of the Hanks Bowl Men’s League, PD7 Hunting Club, and proudly participated in the Noll Racing Team in Highland.
Steve had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in deer hunting, camping, boating, fishing, and riding side-by-side vehicles. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing, often sharing laughs and friendly competition with friends. Above all, Steve treasured time with his family and friends, creating countless cherished memories with those he loved.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 26, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Murry Parents Association and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
