    Vera I. Kuhn, nee Rieger, 90, of Trenton, died Tuesday March 6, 2012 at her residence.

    She was born April 8, 1921 in Mascoutah Twp., IL to John G. and Esther (Schroeder) Rieger; they preceded her in death.

    She married Edward Roszkowski December 4, 1943 in Belleville and he preceded her in death November 10, 1944.

    She then married William Midgley December 1, 1945 in Lebanon and he preceded her in death December 15, 1947.

    She then married Walter Kuhn November 11, 1952 in Pocahontas, AR and he survives in Trenton.

    Also preceded in death by a brother, Clint Rieger; a sister, Betty Korte; a brother-in-law, Jim Kuhn; and sisters-in-law, Marian Rieger, and Ruth Kuhn.

    Surviving are her children, Jeanne (Russell) Heuberger of Highland, Margaret Ann “Mickey” (Mike) Williamson of Trenton, Deborah Kay (Daniel) Athmer of Aviston, and Thomas (Gay) Kuhn of Trenton; 5 grandchildren, Stacey Heuberger, Keely Frey, Cory (Tricia) Williamson, Joshua (Christi) Williamson, and Rachel Kuhn; 6 great-grandchildren, Mia Heuberger, Briar Frey, Mara and Cade Williamson, Vera and Judah Williamson; a sister-in-law, Dot Kuhn of Trenton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Vera was a bookkeeper with Kuhn Lumber Company.

    Member of St. John United Church of Christ, Trenton, Woman’s Fellowship, Trenton Tumbleweeds, Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and several card clubs.

    Funeral service will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Linda Coulson officiating. Interment Trenton Cemetery.

    Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at St. John United Church of Christ, Trenton.

    Memorials can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. John United Church of Christ, or WCCSS-Nutrition Center and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
