Wilbert L. “Pete” Eversgerd 72 of Breese died Tuesday May 15, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.

He was born July 25, 1939 in Germantown to Frank and Veronica (Netemeyer) Eversgerd, they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by brothers LeRoy, Leon “Blackie”, Franklin Eversgerd

He married JoAnn Hustedde May 21, 1963 at St. Mary Church in Trenton and she survives.

Also surviving are his children Kenneth (Bonnie) Eversgerd of Carrolton, GA, Kevin (friend Jane Hampton) Eversgerd of Bartelso, Kurt Eversgerd of Navarre, FL, Kim (Clyde) Pence of Litchfield

2 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren

A sister Carol Haas of Albers.

Sisters-in-law Mary Eversgerd of Damiansville, Alice Eversgerd of Germantown.

Pete was retired truck driver from Schuette Stores and was an avid card player.

Member of St. Dominic Church, Breese, American Legion Post 252, Breese.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Friday May 18, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Church with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St. Dominic – St. Augustine Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday May 17 from 4 to 8 PM and Friday May 18 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

American Legion will hold services at 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
