    Wilma J. Sullivan 80 of Breese died Friday June 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.

    She was born February 29, 1932 in Granite City to Glenwood and Margaret (Webb) Lowe: they preceded her in death.

    Also preceded in death by a brother Richard Lowe

    She married Lawrence D. Sullivan Jr. August, 22, 1953 in Mitchell, IL and he survives in Breese.

    Also surviving are her children Lawrence D (Arsie) Sullivan III of Breese, Michael (Sonja) Sullivan of Carmi, Patrick Sullivan of Bonne Terre, MO, Teresa (George) Stallings of Highland.

    17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren

    A brother Robert Lowe of Granite City

    Wilma was a retired nurse from Doctor’s offices in Belleville and O’Fallon

    Member of St. Dominic Church and Altar Sodality, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary where she joined in 1992 Served 4 terms as President 1998-1999, 1999-2000 2004-2005, 2005-2006 Served 4 terms as Vice-President 1996-1997, 1997-1998 2002-2003, 2003-2004 Wilma was also the Membership chairperson From the early 1990’s to 2011. Wilma was Southern District Chairman of Illinois Hospital Association Council of Volunteers for many years. She also served IHA on the Steering Committee for Volunteer Leadership Retreat & was on the Scholarship committee.

    Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday June 12 at 11:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Carlyle, IL

    Visitation will be held on Monday June 11 from 4 to 8 PM and Tuesday June 2 from 9 to 10:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

    Memorials can be made to Lights for Scholarships St. Joseph Hospital or St. Dominic Church and will be received at the funeral home
