Helen E. Wellinghoff, 94, of Trenton, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Aviston Countryside Manor.
Mrs. Wellinghoff was born June 25, 1918 in Germantown to Theodore “T.C.” and Elizabeth (Dumbeck) Albers; they preceded her in death.
She married Henry “Hank” Wellinghoff on May 7, 1958 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown; he preceded her in death on May 22, 1990.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by son-in-law Thomas Ebert, sisters, Rosalie Albers, Amanda Korte, Adeline Heckenkemper, Josephine Meyer, Alvina Huegen, and Marie Kuhn; brothers, Frank Albers and Charles Albers; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Herman Korte, Ben Heckenkemper, Richard Meyer, Ray Huegen, Cornelius “Snooks” Kuhn, Adella Albers, Florence Albers.
Surviving is a daughter Mary Alice Ebert of Afton, MO
2 granddaughters Diane (JR) Stevens, and Sandra (Bobby) Russell
4 great grandchildren

Helen was a housekeeper for various families and businesses. Helen loved to dance, bake cookies and pies and an avis quilter. She also loved to play euchre and pinochle.
Member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality, Daughters of Isabella Precious Blood Circle 718.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Friday December 28, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton. Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday December 27 from 5 to 7 PM and Friday December 28 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois of St. Mary Church and will be received at the funeral home.
