Irene B. Zurliene (nee Mannhard) 94 of Trenton died Monday April 23, 2012 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Lebanon.
She was born December 24, 1917 in Helvetia Twp., IL to John and Mary (Luber) Mannhard; they preceded her in death.

August H. “Augie” Vonder Haar, 72, of St. Rose, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Mr. Vonder Haar was born February 4, 1940 in Breese to Rose (Thole) and August Vonder Haar, Sr.; they preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Louise Vonder Haar in infancy, Eugenia “Jeanne” Meyer, and Bertha Fuhler; brothers, Robert, Francis, and Vincent Vonder Haar all in infancy; and brothers-in-law, Gene Beckmann, Al Maue, Larry Meyer, John Fuhler, Frank Kluemke, and Tony Peltes.
He married Patricia Kluemke on October 8, 1963 at St. Dominic Church in Breese; she survives in St. Rose.
Also surviving are his children, Dale (Lynn) Vonder Haar of Highland, Doug (Bernice) Vonder Haar of Breese, Duane (Debbie) Vonder Haar of Highland, Craig (Linda) Vonder Haar of St. Rose, and Chad (Jill) Vonder Haar of St. Rose; 15 grandchildren, Hayley and Emily Vonder Haar, Justin, Jason, and Jordan Vonder Haar, Tyler, Payton, and Colton Vonder Haar, Hunter, Logan, Aftyn, and Colin Vonder Haar, and Ashlyn, Caitlyn, and Lauryn Vonder Haar; sisters and brothers, Veronica Beckmann of St. Rose, Leona Maue of St. Louis, Alphonse (Pat) Vonder Haar of Greenville, Edward (Joann) Vonder Haar of St. Rose, and Charles (Lorraine) Vonder Haar of Carlyle; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bert Kluemke of Breese, Betty (Norb) Buehne of Aviston, Charles “Chick” (Mary) Kluemke of Ottawa, Carol “Mickey” (Lester) Beer of Breese, Kathy (Dennis) Keeven of Highland, and Lori (Norb) Tebbe of Breese; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Augie was a self employed Dairy, Beef, Grain, and Hog Farmer. He was a member of St. Rose Church and Men’s Sodality, St. Rose Development Club, former volunteer for the St. Rose Fire Department, Clinton County Farm Bureau, and Dairy Farmers of America.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at St. Rose Catholic Church in St. Rose with Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2:00-6:00 PM and again on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School or St. Rose Church and will be received at the funeral home.
Nancy E. McGinn 68 of Trenton died Sunday April 15, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
She was born August 1, 1943 in Taylorville to Clyde and Ruby (Goodall) Kiefer: they preceded her in death.
Marjorie “Margie” L. Norris, nee Sim, 91, of Breese, Illinois and formerly of Evanston, Wyoming, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her residence in Breese, Illinois.
She was born September 15, 1920 in Evanston, Wyoming to James Sidney Sim and Charlotte M (Sims) Sim; they preceded her in death.
She married Robert H. Norris on May 20, 1942 at Salt Lake City Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah; he preceded her in death December 12, 2000.
Also preceded in death by a son, Robert Chris Norris; sons-in-law, John Eldridge and Anor Limb; and brothers, Arthur, Charles, and Jack Sim.
Surviving are her children, Glenna Eldridge of Breese, Illinois, Mary Lou (Guy) Jandreau of Kaysville Utah, and Charlotte Limb of Evanston, Wyoming.
10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She worked as a waitress, a clerk at Maverick Service Station, and helped her mother operate a dress shop all in Evanston, Wyoming.
She was a member of the Fourth Ward Latter Day Saints Church in Evanston, Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 20, 2012 in Evanston, Wyoming.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese, Illinois.

Lucille M. Lewis, nee Alberternst, 84, of Trenton, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Lewis was born July 21, 1927 in Trenton to Joseph and Elizabeth (Henrichs) Alberternst; they preceded her in death.
She married Cecil Lewis on December 7, 1946 in Pocahontas, AR; he preceded her in death on May 6, 2001.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Elmer Alberternst and Joseph Alberternst; sisters, Irene Crepps, Stella Korte, Eleanor Trost, Evelyn Shoup, and Mary Grimes-Tate; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill Crepps, Ray Korte, Joe Trost, Ed Shoup, Charles Grimes, John Tate, Luetta Alberternst, Frances and Keith Bossarte, and Ruppert and Maxine Lewis.

Lucille worked at Bassler Electric and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and was a charter and life member for 60 years and past-president of the Trenton VFW Post 7983. She enjoyed playing cards and was an avid bingo player, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 13, 2012 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Trenton.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again of Friday, April 13, 2012 from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
