Rena Lee Bergmann 74 of Germantown died Sunday September 16, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
Mrs. Buss was born July 5, 1954 in Highland to Joseph and Alvira (Timmermann) Poettker; they preceded her in death.
She married Gerard Buss on March 27, 1982 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston; he preceded her in death on December 13, 2006.
Also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gregory and Cecilia (Pingsterhaus) Buss.
Surviving are her children, Jessica (James) Hopkins of Breese, Jolene (Matt) Kohnen of Aviston, and Jeffrey Buss of Beckemeyer; 4 grandchildren, Savannah and Skyler Hopkins, Dayton and Elise Kohnen; brothers, Robert (Mary) Poettker of St. Charles, MO, Jim (Judy) Poettker of Germantown, and Gary (Linda) Poettker of Alhambra; sisters, Marilyn (friend Charlie Tharp) Diehl of Florissant, MO and Betty (Al) Dierkes of Germantown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was a personal banker at Centrue Bank in St. Rose and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Ann Altar Sodality in Beckemeyer where she served on the Pastoral Council and was a member of the Clinton County Farm Bureau.
She enjoyed cooking and playing cards, but most of all spending time with her 4 grandchildren.
Corinne R. “Corky” Eversgerd, nee Schoendienst, 82, of Germantown, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Breese Nursing Home.
Mrs. Eversgerd was born April 11, 1930 in Germantown to John and Laura (Heidemann) Schoendienst; they preceded her in death.
She married Jerome “AV” Eversgerd on September 30, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; he survives in Germantown.
Also surviving are her sons, Terry Eversgerd and Kelly (Cheryl) Eversgerd all of Germantown; 2 grandchildren, Kayla and Kyle Eversgerd; a brother, Frank (Betty) Schoendienst of Belleville; a sister, Marlene (Royce) Fletcher of Germantown; a brother-in-law, Hugo Eversgerd of Indianapolis, IN; and nieces and nephews, Sharon (Michael “Buzz”) Seelhoefer, Lisa (Greg) Gent, Jerry (Anna) Schoendienst, Susan Schoendienst, and Steve Schoendienst.
Corky was a homemaker, a licensed insurance producer, and the co-owner of Eversgerd Insurance Agency in Germantown.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown American Legion Post 325 Auxiliary, and the Independent Farm Agents of Illinois.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.
Visitation will be Friday, September 14, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 8:00-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Harold J. “Harry” Robben 78 of Germantown died Friday August 17, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 12, 1934 in Germantown to Herman and Clara (Duepmann) Robben: they preceded him in death.
Also preceded in death by brothers Richard, Thomas, James, and Billy Robben , father-in -law and mother-in-law Gene and Josephine (Santel) Robke, brothers-in-law Norbert Hedtkamp, Harvey Robke.
He married Carolyn Robke May 4, 1963 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and she survives.
Also surviving are his children Cathy Robben of Germantown, Mike Robben of Germantown, Matt Robben of Germantown, Christine (Frank) Colston of Beckemeyer, Amy (Eric) Hemker of Germantown.
5 grandchildren Tom and Sam Wilken, Clara Colston, Emily and Anna Hemker.

Harry was a retired iron worker from Monsanto in Sauget. An U. S. Air force Veteran serving from 1953 to 1957.

Mass of Christian burial will be Monday August 20, at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown with Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery
Visitation will be Monday August 20 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.
Memorials can be made to heartland Hospice , or St. Vincent DePaul Society and will be received at the church or through Moss Funeral Home , Germantown who is handling the arrangements.
